Jerome co-founded The Vining Center in the mountains of North Carolina where he leads retreats and teaches on contemplative practices. The author of a number of books on the spiritual life, he is a former pastor and 20-year coach. His particular passion is supporting leaders in their formational journey with guided retreats, sabbaticals, and contemplative resources.

Jerome and his wife Kellie have three adult children and two grandchildren. He loves to read, write, hike, bike, and enjoy great food and wine. They travel frequently and enjoy adventures around the world. Jerome earned his doctorate in leadership and spiritual formation from Portland Seminary and his Professional Coaching Certification (PCC) from The Center for Coaching Excellence.
