Darren Ho

Darren Ho empowers leaders to live without compromise by redeeming their Core Values.

After 19 years in a corporate leadership role, he knows first-hand the daily pressures leaders face. Darren founded The Restored Leader – a leadership coaching firm – in 2017 to help clients redeem, protect and live their Core Values. As a result, leaders create authentic narratives, giving them confidence and joy in their leadership formation.

Core Value: Faithfulness

Darren defines his Core Value:

Faithfulness – A choice to submit my life to God that requires me to be honest with who I am and who I am becoming.

Originally from the Los Angeles area, Darren is a first-generation American citizen. He and his wife and three children currently reside in Indianapolis, Indiana. Before that, the Ho family lived in Asia and Europe for 11 years and as a result, are passionate global citizens.

Darren earned his Bachelor of Science in Business from the University of Southern California. He received his Executive and Organisational Coach education from the International Executive Coaching and Leadership and is a Professional Certified Coach (PCC) of the International Coach Federation. He is also currently pursuing a Master of Arts in Theology at Fuller Theological Seminary.

Howard Abe coaches Restored Leaders to uncover their Core Values and learn to live them in their life and leadership.

Through his own experience, Howard has learned that whether you’re a senior executive in the C-suite or serving as a leader in an international non-profit organization, your success is tied directly to your authentic leadership and integrity. At the end of the day, leadership is about walking the talk. It’s a long, patient quest of doing the simple and right things day-in and day-out and inspiring others to do the same.

Howard defines his Core Values:

Impact – Encouraging leaders onto a transformative path of personal and professional growth to experience flourishing families, organizations, and communities.

Excellence – Being my best and serving others with confidence, joy and humility.

Faithfulness – Doing the right things day-in and day-out, inspiring others to do the same, and finishing well before the “Audience of One”


Prior to joining TRL, Abe served as a partner in a global management consulting firm advising corporate entities. He led an international non-profit team for nearly a decade, started his own coaching business, and he serves in his local church.

Though he was born and raised in Southern California, Howard spent 26 years working in the Asia Pacific region. He is second-generation Japanese and attended Waseda University in Tokyo, his Father’s Alma Mater. He also earned his MBA from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and has a certificate in Theology and Pastoral Studies from Oxford University. Currently, Howard lives in Taipei with his wife and their two children.

He is a Level 3 certified organizational coach through the Institute of Executive Coaching and Leadership (IECL). He is also accredited by the International Coaching Federation (ICF).

Dale Connelly

Dale Connelly spends his days learning about our clients, and what they need to succeed in leadership and life. Dale is fervent in this task because he believes that a brand matters most when it’s committed to helping people become who they were created to be.

Dale defines his Core Values: 

Depth – Every connection is an opportunity to build confidence in my call, and to invite others to do the same. 

Stillness – Every connection is an opportunity to have humility and gentleness, with patience.

Dale has 10 years of marketing experience serving various industries in the UK and Europe with projects reaching North America, Australia and Asia. He has always been practising the art of communicating and listening, ever since childhood – this hasn’t always come easy to him. Thousands of conversations have taught him that bringing attention to the here and now is critical to helping others build a life well-lived.

Dale, his wife and two children reside in Colchester, a town in the United Kingdom. Regularly they go to enjoy being in nature at the many forests and coastlines that surround them. Wherever Dale is in the world, he always looks out for a good view and water to swim in.

He received his narrative marketing education from StoryBrand and has been a Certified Guide for four years. He is currently pursuing a Diploma of Higher Education from Anglia Ruskin University in specialist clinical therapy.
